Project Manager

Kevin Price Construction is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and client communication to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader, strong communicator, and team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and works closely with owners, architects, subcontractors, and field personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects from award through final completion.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, contracts, and procurement plans.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and company leadership.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance and project success.
  • Manage subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and scope coordination.
  • Monitor project costs, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Process submittals, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, and closeout documentation.
  • Work closely with Superintendents to coordinate project execution, safety, quality, and schedule performance.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with company standards and client expectations.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and community stakeholders.
  • Support business development efforts and participate in project interviews and presentations when needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction.
  • Experience managing projects in K-12, municipal, commercial, industrial, healthcare, or faith-based markets preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, ProjectSight, Procore, and other construction management software.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Superintendent

Kevin Price Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage daily field operations on commercial construction projects. The Superintendent serves as the on-site leader responsible for safety, quality, scheduling, and coordination of subcontractors to ensure projects are completed successfully. The ideal candidate is a hands- on leader, effective communicator, and team player who works closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and trade partners to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from project start through completion.
  • Develop and maintain short-term and long-term project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
  • Conduct daily site inspections to monitor quality, workmanship, and project progress.
  • Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and daily planning activities.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure work is performed correctly.
  • Identify and resolve field issues proactively to maintain schedule and budget objectives.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, and approvals with local authorities and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, project documentation, and progress updates.
  • Monitor site logistics, material deliveries, equipment usage, and workforce productivity.
  • Ensure project punch list items and closeout requirements are completed efficiently.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, design professionals, subcontractors, and community members.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction.
  • Experience managing projects in K-12, municipal, commercial, industrial, healthcare, or faith-based markets preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, sequencing, and scheduling.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
  • Proficiency with construction management software, Project Sight, Procore, and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain project momentum in a fast- paced environment.

Estimator

Kevin Price Construction is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Construction Estimator to join our Preconstruction team. This position works closely with the Director of Preconstruction to develop accurate cost estimates, analyze project documents, solicit subcontractor and supplier pricing, and support successful project pursuits. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering quality work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the Director of Preconstruction throughout the estimating and preconstruction process.
  • Review plans, specifications, and project documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
  • Solicit, evaluate, and compare subcontractor and supplier bids.
  • Assist in developing conceptual, schematic, design development, and final estimates.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project scope reviews.
  • Maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and owners.
  • Support the preparation of bid proposals and presentation materials.
  • Assist with value engineering and constructability reviews.
  • Maintain estimating databases, historical cost information, and bid records.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction to construction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Building Construction, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of estimating, preconstruction, project engineering, or construction experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estimating software is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment.
