Oconee County Schools Instructional Support Center
The Kevin Price Construction team was honored to construct a generational landmark in our own home community.
The 43,000 square-foot, 3-story building provides the Oconee County School District 64 offices, 15 meeting spaces, a new board room that will seat 100 people and much more.

Heyward Allen Toyota Service Center Addition
Kevin Price Construction completed a 9,000 SF addition to the existing service center. This addition included 15 new service bays, a new reception center and a in-house Chick-Fil-A café.
The KPC team also completed the new, 4,100 SF car wash and detail building. This new building provides the Heyward Allen Toyota staff 5 bays for detail work and an automatic, drive-thru car wash.
A new employee parking lot was also completed.
Athens Technical College – Elbert Campus – Agricultural Lab & Arena
KPC completed the 28,000 square foot, new construction of the Athens Technical College – Elbert Campus Agricultural Lab and Arena building.
The laboratory building includes multiple working lab classrooms, office spaces, conference rooms and outdoor space overlooking the lake.
The arena building includes an indoor arena space with bleachers, concession stand, outdoor animal holding space, a mechanical/construction classroom, and storage spaces.
These buildings, equipped with the latest technology, will provide a state of the art space for students and staff to prosper in their studies.
Oconee County Primary and Elementary Schools Renovations
The KPC team spent the summer of 2022 renovating Oconee County Primary School and Oconee County Elementary School. The renovation, covering over 100,000 square feet, included all new flooring, a BRAND NEW rubber gymnasium floor, new paint, new ceilings, Mechanical/Plumbing/Electrical upgrades…and the list goes on! We are honored to have a hand in the new space for the well deserving teachers and staff of OCPS and OCES.
The Yard at Wire Park
The Yard at Wire Park is a 30,000 square foot indoor baseball and softball facility will provide athletes of all ages access to private training rooms, batting cages with automated pitching machines, fully equipped weight rooms, an indoor turf field — and much more!
As an adaptive re-use project, KPC was thrilled to be able to take an old building and give it a whole new purpose!
Berkmar High School
Kevin Price Construction recently completed a 50,000+ square foot addition and renovation of the new Performing Arts building. This state of the art building will provide students a new auditorium, atrium, multiple music rooms and classrooms. We are honored to have built a great facility for students to excel in their studies for years to come.
Covington Police Department HQ
The recently completed Covington Police Department Headquarters was primarily an interior renovation of a 25,600 SF single story building with some exterior improvements as well. This Police Department HQ features NEW bullet proof windows, locker rooms, fitness rooms, evidence rooms, conference rooms, etc.
It was an honor to build a great space for the hardworking men and women of this police department.
Oconee County Courthouse Addition
In January 2020, Kevin Price Construction completed the new addition to the Oconee County Courthouse. The ground floor of the new addition included a security sally port, holding cells, control room, detention equipment with electronic security controls and meeting space. Upper floors contain general Courthouse related office spaces. This project also included low-voltage security electronic upgrades throughout the Courthouse Building.
Athens-Clarke County Extension and 4-H Building
In August 2019, Kevin Price Construction completed the new Athens-Clarke County Extension and 4-H building. This building included several office and meeting spaces.
Athens-Clarke County Fire Station No. 2
The new ACC Fire Station #2 is part of a 14 acre master site development. KPC was tasked with the complete site package, as well as a Fire Station and Cooperative Extension Center. The Fire Station is 14,000 SF with a 3 stall apparatus bay, consisting of a mixed wood framed and structural steel construction with masonry veneer. As a LEED accredited project, this project features the most energy efficient MEP systems to maintain energy and maintenance cost. This facility is built to serve a staff of 15 full time firefighters and will last the Athens-Clarke County community long into the future. Construction began in September of 2018 and completed in August 2019 even with significant weather delays.
North Oconee High School HVAC Replacement & Renovations
During the summer of 2019, KPC completed a HVAC system change out and renovation of North Oconee High School. The Scope of work included changing out 44 roof top, 127 classroom units as well as 100,000 sf of ceiling demo and installation. KPC’s Project Team developed an aggressive 6-day per week schedule which allowed Oconee County Schools to take use of the building earlier than the dates in the contract documents. With the use of an Aircrane (Helicopter) to set the roof top units, the project team condensed 9-days of work into a single day. KPC rose to the occasion and delivered this 200,000 sf school in just 56 days.

Golden Pantry Market
Kevin Price Construction completed the construction of the Golden Pantry Market located in the heart of downtown Athens, Georgia.
This new 5,000 square foot, GP design concept features a unique French inspired interior. It offers an upscale kitchen and the latest in merchandise service equipment, perfect for the college atmosphere.
Greene County High School
KPC completed three major renovations of the Greene County High School. Phase I included the renovations of the existing finishes in the administrative wing, new millwork, tile and paint. KPC relocated the existing Athletic Director’s office and restroom with a basketball concession and storage area. Phase II involved new corridors, cafeteria, lights and ceilings. Phase III included a 50,000 SF of exterior renovations and additions to the existing Greene County High School. This project involved re-configuring the parking lot, adding landscaping, retrofitting existing school building to reconfigure for new Greene County High School College and Career Academy, welding lab, auto lab and multiple kitchens.
Oconee County Fire Station #8
KPC began construction Fire Station 8 in Oconee County in April of 2018. The new facility is a replacement station for the existing Barber Creek Fire Station 8.
This new 9,286 SF one story building features three bays, kitchen and laundry facilities, and sleeping quarters with ten bunks. The facility will feature space for both the fire rescue team and emergency medical services. Scope of work included site work, wood framing, brick work and MEPs. KPC was able to complete construction on this project in six months, ahead of the required substantial completion date.
Oconee Veterans Park
Construction included the creation of three new multi-purpose athletic fields with dugouts, as well as a concession building complete with restrooms. The project involved a total of 16.92 acres of site-work.
Athens-Ben Epps Airport Commercial Terminal
KPC completed a SPLOST funded construction project for Athens-Clarke County involving the demolition of an existing terminal building and construction of a 13,000 SF new commercial terminal. The new building also houses offices for airport administration and the on campus flight school. Outside, KPC poured a new concrete hardstand to allow large jets to park at the airport.
This building includes many sustainable design features and will achieve LEED Gold certification. ALL major subcontractors and suppliers who worked with KPC on this project were local to the Athens-Clarke County area.
Kevin Price Construction Headquarters
In June of 2016, Kevin Price Construction moved into a new building that they designed and built at 2500 Daniels Bridge Road in Athens, GA. KPC inhabits the offices on the second floor of the building and the first floor features commercial office space.
The new building is 18,010 sq ft and 40 feet high. All offices feature windows with views. The building is equipped with an advanced security system that requires keycard verification for entry.

McCann Aerospace Machining
Kevin Price Construction completed a fast paced Design/Build CM at Risk project involving a renovation and addition at McCann Aerospace Machining in Athens, GA. This project consisted of a 10,000 SF lean-to, pre-engineered building for new office space as well as a 68,000 SF pre-engineered, free-standing structure for manufacturing. Additionally, this project required construction of a large site grading and drainage project along a stream buffer. Construction on this project began in July of 2015 and the project reached substantial completion by October of 2015.
ACC Diversion Center
KPC served as the general contractor in the construction of a new, 13,500 SF medium security dormitory facility for Athens-Clarke County. This facility was built to house non-violent inmates sentenced to a work release program. The steel, masonry, and EIFS facility includes dormitory space, restrooms, laundry, vending & food service areas. This project achieved LEED certification in November of 2012.

Georgia DNR Wildlife Resources Building
KPC built a new Wildlife Resources Building for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources in Social Circle, GA. This building was new construction and the project was completed within 8 months. Work consisted of the addition of an 11,500 SF wood frame building and demo and renovation of existing offices.
Heyward Allen Toyota
The 17,000-square-foot facility major renovation included a new climate controlled, four-stall vehicle delivery bay, children’s play area, three guest lounges, a café, office and reception areas, and modifications to plumbing, electrical and HVAC. The project was performed on the active site as the business was open. Various stages of construction were used to minimize the disruption of business.
UGA Chemistry Auditorium
The project involved removal of existing seating, railings, casework, flooring and ceiling finishes. Seating, railing, casework, chalkboards, acoustical wall panels etc. were removed first. Scaffolding was installed to remove the existing ceiling. Plumbing rough in at the restroom, demolition on the lower level & corridors were concurrent with the upper level. Above ceiling fire protection, electrical and mechanical, drywall and acoustical finishes were performed. Light fixtures, mechanical diffusers, grills and sprinkler system trim out were also completed. Testing, balancing, punch list, final cleaning, final inspections and occupancy permit were completed the last two weeks of July. The building was turned over to the owner August 1, 2014.

A 18,375 SF shopping center in Lake Oconee Village near Reynolds Plantation in Greene County. Suite sizes range from 1,220-2,695 SF.

Rocky Plains Elementary School
Kevin Price Construction completed construction of a 85,000 SF new elementary school with a 20,000 SF detached gym on a 26 acre site in Covington, GA. Work consisted of sitework and erecting the two new buildings complete with offices, classrooms, a cafeteria, a media center, and computer labs. In spite of challenges that arose as a result of significant rock/blasting, KPC was able to complete the project on-time and the new facility was ready in time for school to begin in the fall.
Morgan County High School Gymnasium
The Morgan County High School Gymnasium was a 39,318 square foot new building in the center of an existing, operating campus. The building is a 2 story state-of-the-art gymnasium facility with elevated walkways to tie in to existing grandstands. The gymnasium incorporated an elevator, wood sports floor, showers and locker rooms and full concession areas. Our services included all aspects of management as well as value engineering and exceptional performance in the areas of cost, quality and schedule.
